A 24 hour hackathon for Northeasten students

HackThePack is a 24 hour student run Hackathon open to all Northeastern students, taking place April 7-8. Our goal is to bring together about 100 students from a wide array of technical backgrounds in order to encourage students to collaborate across disciplines and tackle complex issues facing Northeastern students and the world around them.

Eligibility

Must be actively enrolled at Northeastern University, either graduate or undergraduate. Team sizes are capped at 4 people. 

Requirements

Include a document describing how to use your program.

How to enter

Register in advance online at hackthepack.github.io. Walk-ins welcome on the day of, space permitting.

Judging Criteria

  • Creativity
    More than just throwing a new wrapper on an existing API, hackers approached a problem in a different way, leading to a different, unique, or innovative project.
  • Purpose
    Project serves a practical or functional purpose, and could potentially be used by a public audience.
